Course: Community Bible Study - The Book of Genesis
Course Description:
Come join us for a 30-week-in-depth study of The Book of Genesis.  Community Bible Study is an interdenominational organization that offers the opportunity to study the Bible in a comfortable, unintimidating atmosphere.  The class meets on Tuesday evenings and follows the CISD calendar and meets at 7:00 pm on our First Baptist Church campus in Building D, upstairs in The "Pit".  The class is open to all men and women, and to children of those attending in grades 1-8.  Fore more information and to register, contact Don Lanman at 936-321-4185 or Kenneth or Judy Oates at 281-252-0580. 

Wednesday Evening Studies

Course: Wednesday Evening Family Meal
Course Description: An FBCTW dining experience each Wednesday night from 5:30 pm - 6:15 pm in the gym of Bldg B is hosted by our fantastic Kitchen crew! Adult meals are $4, children (6th grade & under) choose from adult menu (child portion) OR Kids meal for $2.50, maximum family cost of $13. You may view upcoming menus or sign up on the web by Monday at 4pm of each week. Payment will be received at the door.

Course: Divorce Care
Course Description: This 13 week Bible Study helps you develop an intimate relationship with God. You’ll learn to recognize when God is speaking to you and how to respond with obedience resulting in a fresh and exciting spiritual walk. This small-group study makes use of a workbook for daily study and a DVD during class time.

Course Description: This 16-session study focuses on the two areas that are central to a man’s life: career and family. It will begin to build the walls of manhood through study dealing with a man’s chief responsibilities. It explores how a man can enjoy and engage his work and how he can relate to a woman in a whole new way.

Course Description: Fingerprints of God:Recognizing God's Touch on Your Life is a 6 week study which teaches us to recognize six things we can experience because of God's touch: honor, intimacy, shelter, guidance, redemption, and refinement.

Course: MOPS - Mothers of Preschoolers
Course Description: MOPS is a program designed to encourage mothers with children from infancy up to kindergarten through relationships and resources. A MOPS group provides a caring, accepting atmosphere for today’s mother of preschoolers. Here she has an opportunity to share concerns, explore areas of creativity and hear instruction that equips her for the responsibilities of family and community. Childcare will be provided. *Membership fee includes weekly e-mails from MOPS International, MomSense Magazine, and access to the MOPS International website www.mops.org.
Begins: New Semester Begins January 7, 2010 (Every other Thursday thereafter)
Cost: New Members: $75 ($25 Yearly Membership to MOPS International and $50 Semester Fee).
