Course: Community Bible Study - The Servants of God, the study of the books of Joshua, Judges,
Ruth and 1 & 2 Samuel
Course Description:
Community Bible Study (CBS) is currently taking registrations for its 2010-2011 class. CBS is an interdenomination organization that offers the opportunity to study the Bible in a comfortable, unintimidating atmosphere. The class meets on Tuesday evenings and follows the CISD school calendar. The class begins September 7th at 7:00 pm on our First Baptist Church campus in Building D, upstairs in the “Pit”. The class is open to all men and women, and to children of those attending in grades 1-8. Wednesday Evening Studies

Course: Wednesday Evening Family Meal
Course Description: An FBCTW dining experience each Wednesday night from 5:30 pm - 6:15 pm in the gym of Bldg B is hosted by our fantastic Kitchen crew! Adult meals are $4, children (6th grade & under) choose from adult menu (child portion) OR Kids meal for $2.50, maximum family cost of $13. You may view upcoming menus or sign up on the web by Monday at 4pm of each week. Payment will be received at the door. Come check out our new salad bar!

Serendipity Studies 
Course Description: Each Wednesday night we will study God’s Word at table groups after dinner. We will seek God together in prayer and then study his word in small groups. Each group will have a study guide directing discussion about the evening’s scripture passage. There will be multiple small groups all studying together in the gym, but there will not be a general “lecture.” Each group will share, study, and pray together. Come join us each week as we seek God together.

Course: Divorce Care
Course Description: This 13 week Bible Study helps you develop an intimate relationship with God. You’ll learn to recognize when God is speaking to you and how to respond with obedience resulting in a fresh and exciting spiritual walk. This small-group study makes use of a workbook for daily study and a DVD during class time.

Course: Making Peace With Your Past - by H. Norman Wright
Course Description: This 12 week face-to-face group discussion will help you see with greater clarity and find release from unresolved childhood hurts, fears and pain. This discovery will begin within a caring and supportive environment where you can learn to experience freedom that Christ provided and will lead us into. God’s Word through Christ will show how to be set free.

Course: Celebrate Recovery Step Study Groups
Course Description: Celebrate Recovery is for anyone whose life is affected by hurts, habits or hang-ups. The Step Study small groups actually study the four Celebrate Recovery participant’s guides together. The Participant’s Guides are: Stepping out of Denial into God’s Grace; Taking an Honest and Spiritual Inventory; Getting Right with God,
Yourself and Others; Growing in Christ while Helping Others.

Course: Authentic Manhood: The Great Adventure
Course Description: The Great Adventure explores a man and his world beyond the everyday.  The 20 session study puts the roof on the house of masculinity and creates a vision for a man's future and destiny.  This study will help men rediscover the adventure in life through a greater understanding of who they are.  Men will uncover the uniqueness they have as a man and discover a satisfying life focus.  It will challenge men to consider several important questions they are continually asking themselves: "Who am I?"  "What are my dreams in life?"  "Do I have courage to pursue those dreams?"

In this 6 week study you’ll laugh with them, cry with them, and learn to love God with them.
